S24 Ultra 1TB Freezes then Reboots During Media Playback

My S24 Ultra keeps freezing during media playback (usually if I skip portions of video or audio), then reboots.  Happens with YouTube, Twitter, in Chrome, Spotify, etc.

Twitter embedded videos, Instagram messenger videos also won't play at first.  Twitter shows "Playback Error" message, then I have to back out of the video, click it again, and maybe I'll be lucky if it plays.  Instagram same deal, if I click the video someone sent me, no playback, if I back out, scroll up and down, it might play.

Also, on YouTube videos they glitch randomly, I'll get a green screen flash, the video will hiccup, then start playing again.

On a final note, I used SmartSwitch from my S22 Ultra, but have reset my device and signed into accounts manually and installed apps manually, and I still get the same issues popping up.

As a starting point please consider trying  @El Jefe

Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Did just as you said.  First YT video didn't even start the ad, it froze, then rebooted.

A last extreme resort is to factory reset and then set the phone up as new i.e don't use any back up.

Download your apps manually via your Playstore and Galaxy Store apps.

Then see if YouTube plays.

If not then there's something possibly wrong deeper inside the phone.

A Samsung Service Centre should be able to help.

A rule of thumb...Avoid any phone with 1 Tb. Just stay as far away as U can!

The issues are literally endless

We have two S24 Ultra 1TB and no issues so far.

Any phone can have issues, especially at release time when the Software has not been refined/optimised. There is also the small percentage that might be defective due the manufacturing process.

I do not think that 1TB phones will have more statistically significant issues than other storages. If you have some supporting links or material for issues on 1TB, I would appreciate if you post it. I will definitely read it.
