Resource intensive operations such as charging / fast charging will cause the phone to warm up as well as making video calls as this is using the Camera module too @SlimsS24
If a case and or screen protector is fitted this can also hinder heat dissipation.
I use a Samsung Wireless Charging Stand that has an inbuilt fan that helps keep the phone cool when it's on fast charge.
A phone should never become too hot to hold.
If the phone is overheating to a high extent than it would tell you via a pop up warning ,and in extreme circumstances auto shut down.
Please ensure your using a Samsung charging kit or a reputable branded option.
You could try this troubleshooting step > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask. 😎

Hi @SlimsS24
Feeling warm/hotish when doing demanding tasks for an extended period is normal. Charging also produces similar effect. These activities will cause heat generation and dissipation. It happens on all similar electronics devices.
The question is how you define "overheat". Is it too hot to handle? If it is, you should take the phone to the retailer, Samsung shop or contact Samsung support.
There are plugins that can display the temperature of the phone. You might like to try one to see the temperature your phone is running at.

My s24 plus gets very hot when using video calls. My s22 plus does not get hot from video calls. My s21 ultra did not get hot. So it's bs when they say all phones get hot from video calls. There is something wrong with the s24 for sure.
