Overheating + Battery Drain solution – For when i have no signal

Galaxy S24.

The gym i go to has terrible signal, so it's constantly searching for 5g, 4g...etc.

When I take my phone out my locker, after its been in there for 2ish hours, its roasting hot and lost like 25% battery.

What can I do to stop the overheating and drain in this situation

Swich it off then till you leave the gym.

You need to ensure the area of the gym where you put your belongings has a cool temperature. Leaving your phone data on and searching for a signal will use a lot of your phone battery and will cause it to overheat. To prevent it from happening again, consider reducing your phone brightness and not leaving your data on whilst in your locker.

Should I just put it in aeroplane mode then?

It's up to you to decide. If you don't want it to overheat, then yes. Make sure you close background apps regularly to stop them from using your phone battery. If you have Bluetooth enabled, turn it off if you don't use it that often or temporarily.
