Hello,, I've just received my S24 Ultra and compared to my S21 Ultra the colours on the S24 Ultra are washed out and not as Saturated?, I've adjusted all the display settings and still cannot get the colours to match the older S21 Ultra, I've contact samsung uk customer service they went through Smart Tutor and couldn't find anything amiss has anyone else found this to be the same on their S24 ultra? I'm not sure if Samsung UK are aware of this issue? And whether a software update will solve it?, I suspect it's the new Gorilla glass amour glass which is anti-reflective which is great but not at the expense of colour, I'm seriously considering returning the S24 ultra and keeping my S21 Ultra

Anyone else think the display on the new phone is pretty dull with subdued / washed out colour appearance? Do I have something wrong in settings? Currently set to highest resolution and vivid colours tone.

There seems to be a few posts about this
Personally I prefer natural to vivid.
But I think the anti reflective element of the screen is maybe slightly disapating the colours
Maybe a future update might bring more boosted colours

Suspected something like you describe, being so new I can hope they are able to address this. Vivid on my S24 Ultra is like neutral with less vibrancy. Still as we're on launch devices, I guess I've time for to see a SW fix I guess

I am finding the colour slightly washed out compared to the S23+ I had. I actually prefer it as I did switch on eye shield alot.

I was reading somewhere else that it may be a bug with the smart switch. (which I used).

Is anyone with the washed out issue, who used smart switch, able to factory reset and see if the issue persists? (I'm unable to as I've wiped my old phone)

I face the same issue. The screen colour's look pretty dull compared to my s23 ultra and less bright. My friend got the s24 and even his colour/screen bright and more vivid. I tried disabling all eye comfort and display settings with no luck. What I noticed is that the Vivid more does practically nothing compared to normal colour profile however on the S23 Ultra normal vs vivid is night and day. Support is not helpful as usual...

Hi yes I'm the same I posted on here and lots of people here have replied finding the same, I was trading in my S21 Ultra and comparing the them side by side I found the colours were more washed out and muted than the S21 ultra but when I watched 4K hdr videos on YouTube it became obvious that the S24 Ultra image was duller (yes duller) Then my S21 Ultra the S21 had brighter image more dynamic with brighter highlights and richer deeper colours I'm not happy and I'm 90% certain I will be returning it
