Sorry to piggyback this thread but i've got a S24 Ultra stuck on July security patch and the 6.1 OneUI version that doesn't have all the AI goodies. This is my service provider software version

This is the one I use, along with Sam mobile for the update files. https://tsar3000.com/how-to-update-the-samsung-galaxy-s24-ultra-3-methods/

Hi @natedogg0103

You could got to this site: https://samfw.com/imei

Enter your imei, and it should give you a list with info of your phone. Please do not post imei or serial number on the forum.

@natedogg0103: I believe that EUB is mainland Europe, while EUX is UK. This might explain why you're having trouble updating the device, as you are outside the region that the phone was intended to be used in. With this in mind, as advised previously, you may wish to try Smart Switch on a home computer to see if you're able to update your S24 Ultra in this manner.

To begin with, please follow the link below, and click on 'How Do I Get Smart Switch On My PC or Mac' to download the relevant version

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-backup-my-smartphone-to-my-pc-or-mac/

Once installed, open Smart Switch, connect your S24 Ultra using the USB cable that came packaged with the device, and look for an update prompt on the landing page, next to your device details.

That means that you phone is being sold for this region. My phone was bought from Samsung directly and it is the same EUB region. I believed Samsung unified the EU CSC.

Where did you buy the phone from? e.g. retailer, country

Hi @AndrewL

I think that EUB is the new unified region for Europe. I get the same result on my imei and I bought my phone directly from Samsung.

Hi @natedogg0103

I would not use Odin to update the firmware. It might invalidate your warranty.

I would follow @AndrewL and @lminvti  and use SmartSwitch to update the firmware.

By the way, One UI 6.1 is the latest. firmware version: S928BXXS4AXJB / S928BOXM4AXJB / S928BXX4AXJB

The relevant bit is AXJB and the security patch 1 November 2024

The message can be seen by going to

Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.

Have you tried SmartSwitch to update the firmware?

So it's just a security patch i'm missing then? Strange as the Firmware on my S22 Ultra was newer than my S24 Ultra 🤔 Haven't had chance to hook up to a PC to try smartswitch yet

Try:

Settings -> About the phone -> Software information -> Google Play system update.

It should prompt you to download the latest security patch and reboot the phone.
