All,
Update:
I was struggling with poor battery on my S24 Ultra and was even thinking to return it. After some research online I decided to reset my phone to factory and set it up fresh. I did not use smartswitch this time and now I can confirm that the battery just wont die... 😅

So anyone struggling with battery try the above. I know it is a pain installing all the apps again if not using smartswitch, but it is worth it!!

It has come to light in the past that for some using the SmartSwitch option to set up their new phone's has caused some hiccups.

Personally I use my Samsung Cloud Backup to transfer my info over, and only use SmartSwitch to move across my Gallery.

The Device Care Section under Battery can also help to highlight what is using the battery too @Billymayn

I agree, it is a pain to set the phone as new, but it is worth it. I always set my phones as new and the set the apps as needed.

It makes the phone run smoother.

Saying that, battery is the one thing that really improves after the phone ends the learning period and settles.

Yeah also you get rid of all the apps you don't use because you are installing only the ones you require on day to day basis

I noticed strange battery drain after a couple of days. Checked the battery settings and it was an app causing it. Force stopped the app and it was all good after that. Interesting if smart switch is the culprit

Well after my experience i certainly do. I did keep an eye on battery settings for any apps draining but everything felt normal.
I guess when u use smartswitch it brings in all the corrupt settings and cache with it.

Viewing videos via YouTube or Ticktock etc will drain the battery faster due to the resources they use @S24 ultra2

Have a look in your Device Care Section under Battery to see what's using your battery.

The battery will improve by optimising once it's been charged and discharged a few times and the optimisation has compelled after 1~2 Weeks.
