Merge Fellas - Game keeps crashing on my Galaxy phone?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here might have an idea for a really frustrating issue I'm facing with a game called Merge Fellas on my new Galaxy S24.

I really enjoy the game, but it keeps crashing. I can play for a few minutes, and then it suddenly freezes for a second and closes back to the home screen. There's no error message or anything, it just force closes. It's making the game unplayable.

I've already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps I could think of:

• Restarting the phone
• Clearing the app's cache and data
• Uninstalling and reinstalling the game multiple times
• Making sure my phone's software is completely up to date.

Nothing seems to work. To make it easier to understand, I've put together a Google Doc with all the details of my phone, the exact steps I've taken, and what happens. I was hoping to add some screenshots there later.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with this game or any other game? I'm wondering if there's a specific Samsung setting I'm missing, maybe in the Game Launcher or battery settings?

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Well, if you can, sell your S24 and buy something from a different brand. Even something cheaper. It should work. Because Samsung is a phone for show, not for good, convenient and pleasant use

Is that the only games that is crashing? Contact game developer, it could be an issue with the game

Make sure to set the game's battery performance to unrestricted. Often an overlooked setting. This ensures it isn't throttled back in any way. Head to Settings > Apps > Merge Fellas > Force Stop > Battery > Unrestricted. 

In your Game Booster settings, set this to Performance Mode as well. That's Settings > Advanced Features > Game Booster Settings > Game optimisation.
