Hi guys. Had the phone for a few weeks now. I've tried a tempered glass and TPU screen protector. I've given up on both and gone naked. The screen protectors totally diminish the anti-reflective properties of the new display. Plus the screen is more vivid bare. Also screen protectors are far more prone to scratches than the new GG Armour. Also not sure why I put a screen protector on, to sell it in 2 years for someone to get the benefit of an untouched display!

I do use a screen protector even though your right this does affect the anti reflective screen @Motty2012 because I'd be not happy if I saw a micro scratch or even worse accidentally bumped my phone causing damage.

Glass is Glass and can scratch.

I use the Spigen Ez Easy Fit Glass Screen Protector and the Spigen Ez Glass Camera lens protectors too.

If I were to sell my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra down the line then the value would be higher if the display was pristine.

And the cost to replace the displays are not cheap too.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Agreed. I'll be gutted if I get a scratch. The screen is so much better without. Guess it's just a trade off really. Think in summer when outside the difference will be greater.

Yes outside when we do get a bit of 🌞 in the UK 🇬🇧  😉 the screen would come into it's own.

Once a scratch is seen however it can't be unseen in my world, so I'm OK with not having the display being as anti reflective as it can be to protect my investment.

Screen protectors are very cheap when compare to the price of the phone. A simple way of protecting the phone from accidents.

If you do not want to affect the anti-reflective properties of the screen, you could use a wallet case that protects the screen without the need to have a screen protector. Of course, a wallet case is has its drawbacks. There is no perfect solution. The naked phone is the prettiest, the screen protector may affect the visual of the screen, and wallet cases can be cumbersome.

I have a good record with phones, but accidents do happen. It is good to have the feel that if an accident do happen, the phone will not be left in a condition that will cost a lot more to repair.

I've got a cheap Chinese one and I love it. I don't feel the screen lost anything from using the screen protector. I wouldn't go without a screen protector on my phone. It's from Amazon. Idk if I am allowed to post a picture like this on here though. 🤞1708175134061.jpg

Samsung do sell an anti reflective screen protector which is a film. It's a matter of opinion whether this is the one for you or not @Motty2012

I get what you are saying about someone else benefiting.
But I'm like @BandOfBrothers
If there's a scratch and I know it's there. It's something that will bother me.
I'm personally not bothered about the reduction in reflection off the screen. It gets plenty bright enough
I know someone that buys lots of cheap screen protectors.
They will install one when they are going to do something that will risk getting scratches. Like going to the beach
Bit in the office etc. They will remove the screen protector until one is needed again
Me personally I will put on something minimal like a TPU version. I use one from Ringke

In all the years of ownership, I've never installed a screen protector. Never had a scratch. Must be luck lol.
