S24 plus Battery drain

Anyone realise how quickly the S24plus (exynos 2400 variant) drains. I upgraded from an S8 plus which is about 6years old and strangely my new S24 plus on mobile data barely outperforms the 6 year old phone during usage. The only time it siginificantly does, is during ideal time where my S24 plus loses about 1% every hour compared to my S8 plus losing about 2-3%. It's unbelievable how apps such as Google maps and camera etc (which are supposed to be optimised) drains the battery so quickly as if they are not.

I think I'll try resetting it and installing the apps myself in a few days.

@Sabclips @cloudh i'm actually facing the same issue, I got a brand new S24+ and it loses battery incredibly fast. It didn't last half a day with really moderate use. Even when being locked it loses battery very fast. 

Did you guys found a solution for this please ?

The April update has significantly improved the battery life for me. On standby, I lose no more than 1% per hour. I have kept my phone charged between 20-80%, and I get about 4-5 hours SOT using Disney+, youtube, X, and a few minutes playing mortal Kombat. I cleared the partition cache after the update, and that was helpful.

I got a brand new Samsung s24+ and it loses 1% every 8-10 minutes even when I'm just using tiktok with nothing in the background
