Ridiculous update

Just updated my phone Software as requested and you can't even tell the difference in the scroll down menu now. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, battery saver, hot spot, plane mode etc etc all look like they're on when they're not now. Goes for every other button too. They're now lit up when off and dimmed when on. How idiotic is that. Next year is IPhone year for me. Fed up with these pointless updates. Now they've got 2 different scroll down menus too, one for notifications and one for the rest like setting etc... Ridiculous, confusing and they've just made it even more confusing today. And I'm 32 years old so only God knows how older generation will deal with it.

I deal with it very well 

You can change the pull down menu easily.

Swipe down from the right and tap on the pen symbol. Then tap on panel settings.

Then select together to get it back to what it was.

Just ask questions to see what you can do.

Lots of customisations on Samsung phones

I find it extremely useful. If you're only 32 and having issues adapting now, god knows how grumpy you'll be at my age.

Just drag down click the pen icon then panel settings then click together.

Thanks for your help, I've selected together. As for the other issue I'm having, I'm going to have to change theme as this update has changed layout for some reason.

Well I apologise, wasn't aware this was a rude statement considering the condescension the OP displayed in regard to the "older" generation, like myself.
