S24 series One UI 7.0 rollout halted by Samsung

"Samsung seems to have pulled the firmware update from its OTA servers without explaining why. According to leakster Ice Universe, Samsung discovered several bugs on devices that got the One UI 7 update, including instances where updated phones could “not be unlocked normally”. SamMobile also reported a critical bug with Samsung's Secure Folder, which exposes users’ Gallery contents."

Yesterday, Samsung halted the rollout of the stable One UI 7.0 (Android 15) update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition due to a critical bug. Now, the company seems ready to resume the rollout of the big software update.


Reliable leakster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) claims, Samsung will resume the rollout of the stable One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra today. Apparently, Samsung has solved the critical bug that forced the company to halt the rollout and is now ready to resume the update's release for its high-end phones.

Now that the issue has been fixed, Samsung is reportedly ready to roll out One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series with firmware version ending BYD9.

I have an S24 Ultra, but I got it through Three Mobile UK, but Three have rumoured that they "might" not allow their versions of the S24/Ultra to update to Android 15. Granted i hope its wrong, and I'll keep checking, but it would not surprise me if they did prevent it.

I still cant find it it isn't showing up and says I am all up to date I have the s24fe

For S24FE they just released it in Korea yesterday so you will probably get it in couple of days. 🤞🏼
