One UI 8 Stable/Official version (Android 16) is Officially Released in the UK.

Hello everyone,

Just to let you all know that One UI 8 (based on Android 16) Stable/Official version has now been released in the UK for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

I believe this includes the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones in general as well.

This new software was released on 25 September 2025.

You should be able to get this new software update through your normal phone's settings or the Samsung Members App.

I have already updated my Samsung Galaxy S24 to the new Official version of One UI 8.

Apparently according to some internet research I did about One UI 8 (Official version) being released for the Samsung A05s smartphone.

Unfortunately this specific make and model of smartphone isn't eligible for the One Ui 8 software update because it's classed as a budget mid range phone.

Only Samsung flagship smartphones are eligible for the new One UI 8 software update.

Samsung flagship phone's are the Galaxy S25 Series and the Galaxy S24 series.

These are top of the range smartphones and are very expensive to buy.

Also, there is virtually no difference between One UI 8 and One UI 7 (Official versions).

So it's nothing to get excited about to be honest.

This is the truth.
