Object eraser not working

Since purchasing my brand new s24 ultra, I have noticed that the object eraser is not working and functioning and working as well as my old s22 & s23 ultra models. When you try and edit a photo or eraser a area the tool is snapping randomly in places on screen. And not actually removing the highlighted area. It's very frustrating

Yeah, similar. It is nowhere near as good as the S23 ultra. I ended up checking on a photo I had previously done and I just couldn't get near the same results.

I have found its inconsistent, I have tryed a few different types of images. And sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. But most definitely it is very broken. Not functioning not at all aswell as previous models.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm an avid photo editor. It's what I do for fun. The object eraser works flawlessly on my S23 Ultra. To say the results on my S24 Ultra are disappointing would be an understatement. What happened? I'm so frustrated that I'm seriously considering returning my S24 Ultra and just keeping my S23 Ultra. I was so excited to get the S24 and there is much that I love about it but object eraser not working is VERY close to a deal breaker for me. Has anyone heard anything, anywhere from Samsung?

The object eraser in the gallery edits is nowhere near as good as in the S23 series. 

Is this a fault that is likely to be fixed?

Hi @Stephpg may I ask in what way you find the Object Eraser not as good as with the Samsung Galaxy s²³ phone's ?
