Object eraser not working - Page 3

Since purchasing my brand new s24 ultra, I have noticed that the object eraser is not working and functioning and working as well as my old s22 & s23 ultra models. When you try and edit a photo or eraser a area the tool is snapping randomly in places on screen. And not actually removing the highlighted area. It's very frustrating

In S24, there are two methods for removing objects from the image. One operates as in S23, while the other (A.I), replaces the deleted object with another one.

If you want to remove an object, you need to click on the pencil icon, and in the menu that opens, click on the icon of the four small circles. There, the regular deletion menu will open, which works great.

I'm happy that the object eraser tool works adequately for you. I used object eraser almost every day on my S23 Ultra so I can assure you that I know how to use it. The fact is that object eraser does not work in any acceptable fashion on my S24 Ultra.

Update, do u mean January 9, 2024?

I've done similar actions, then restarted phone & O. E. functions the same way... properly. I have 2 different screen recordings showing different actions. Correct function. Incorrect function. Not great for a 1699$ valued phone.

My eraser isn't working I draw around the object and it jumps to different places on the photo... it was working fine until today

It has not been working properly or 100%... At ALL

I've reported to Samsung, i've seen others state on this Forum, but how exactly how do we get anywhere? I am about to send in my 23U as well. I cannot HOPE for a fix for this price of this device. I/WE Best HAVE a Fix.

It behaves COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY on this 24U. The 23U was excellent. Very useful. It became a necessary Tool.

On this 24U it sometimes works on AI, but can produce unprofessional results.

Samsung, we need Your Help.

I am having issues also. I tried to remove a car off the drive of our house and it replaced it with another car. A better one I will give them that but I didn't want anything on the drive.

It's because you're using it incorrectly.

If you edit a photo using AI (the three blue stars), it will replace the object with another. But if you just want to remove an object, you need to click on the pencil icon and, in the menu that opens, click on the icon of the four small circles on the right. There, the regular deletion menu will open, which works well.
