@Nashy: Which app are you using to listen to your music? I'm asking because the ads may be part of the terms of use for the app.
If adverts are popping up outside the app, then this is certainly a third party issue. If they are intrusive then I recommend uninstalling any apps that you have added since you first encountered the issue.

Is that the Samsung Music app? You can access Spotify through the app, but you need to subscribe to listen ad-free. You can turn off Spotify in the Settings Samsung Music app.
I personally use YouTube Music, it's free with a YouTube subscription

Try installing VLC is a very good multimedia app. It plays videos, audio in pretty much any format available.

Samsung Music is ad free, but Spotify in app is not, I guess. (I don't use it, so I don't know)

He said he got a lot of music, Samsung Music is an empty app if you don't put music there yourself. Spotify is on the far left of the app and I assume there are ads for free users
