Apart from faded colors on the screen, there is a sandy/grainy screen problem. There are many people affected by this issue on various forums. This problem is not caused by vivid mode. I don't know if this problem is hardware or software.

My problem was obvious at any brightness. The problem was evident in the dark gray parts. I took these photos in full light. The problem is evident in the dark gray parts in dark mode, creating a grainy appearance. It appears more, but at 50 percent brightness and below. The resolutions of the photos I uploaded are not bad, the screen looks exactly like this.

I think this is a more serious problem than dull colors.

according to the post here, we can see the difference on the microscope

as we can see, the cause of the noise is the pixels lighting up even when they shouldn't, will it be due to the software or the hardware?
We try to have the most precise answers in the shortest time possible, because many users are close to the deadline for the replacement

My phone was changed in the service for this reason. If there is a problem with the new device, I will share it.

I still haven't received the new phone.

I am very afraid of replacing with a phone in worse condition

I have the same problem. Just don't know whether it's a hardware or software error. If it could be solved with an update, I would like to keep it.

But I'm worried that the replacement device is also affected.

If it is a hardware error, I would have to replace it.

I tried with all colors, the brightness is at 1% and the grain/noise is always present. The more you increase the liminosity, the more the grain/noise disappears. I think it's a PWM or hardware tuning issue that causes the pixels to misbehave in different ways

Here's a comparison between a poco f3 and a s24u (pic taken with an iphone 11 in night mode). Planning to sent for a replacement as well. Last time I had this issue was on an old lg v30 that had hardware issues.

from some tests carried out by users in the posts mentioned previously, it seems that this grain is due to a bad behavior of the lighting of the pixels, the grain which to the naked eye seems fixed, is actually moving and is due to pixels that shine more than necessary, now it is not known whether this behavior is due to a software problem or something related to the hardware.

Same here, I'm afraid it'll have the worse jean pattern, or it will be the same grainy display. It's not worth replacing yet I believe. Maybe the issues will be fixed in new batches. I have a 3 month display warranty and if it's not fixed by 3 months I will probably take my chances with a replacement.

New images from the forums. The new ones seem to be worse. One of them was produced on January 18th, I don't know about the other one, they didn't write it down.

Why doesn't Samsung still make a statement?
