Grainy/Sandy screen problem on the Galaxy S24 Ultra

Apart from faded colors on the screen, there is a sandy/grainy screen problem. There are many people affected by this issue on various forums. This problem is not caused by vivid mode. I don't know if this problem is hardware or software.

My problem was obvious at any brightness. The problem was evident in the dark gray parts. I took these photos in full light. The problem is evident in the dark gray parts in dark mode, creating a grainy appearance. It appears more, but at 50 percent brightness and below. The resolutions of the photos I uploaded are not bad, the screen looks exactly like this.

My plain S22 and my old Note 10 screens look WAY BETTER than my new S24 Ultra. I didn't care about the screen vividness as I'm not that picky and it has since been fixed with an update, however, when I look at this phone the screen looks grainy. Definitely hardware not software. It looks like an old passive matrix display on an old 1990s laptop. I paid $1,300 for this phone and samsung BETTER MAKE THIS RIGHT OR I WILL NEVER TOUCH ANOTHER SAMSUNG AGAIN! I work at AT&T and have been pushing customers away from this phone for this very reason.

My S10+ screen is way better, S24 Ultra is not nearly as crisp when watching YouTube. It's like I can literally see the pixels on my Ultra and it's very annoying. I barely use the S24 Ultra, just been using my S10+. How could Samsung do this??? Last Samsung device I will ever purchase!

I got this response from samsung. Its not a defect apparently and its meant to be like this just like how when the display was less vibrant
