I am able to pair my phone, multiple times, to my pc, but it keeps saying that it's unable to connect.

While I am able to connect my Galaxy Watch 6 to both without issue

can anyone help me out

I've have had issues connecting a Bluetooth device either to the phone, TV,  or a desktop even if the device is displayed in the list of Bluetooth items in their respective history.

What I found that works in this specific situation, I'll delete the Bluetooth device in question and start all over.  I don't know if this helps, but I've had my share of connecting my Bose QC Earbuds on occasion.

Unfortunately, I've done that multiple time, it's always paired successfully, but it never stays connected

It keeps saying couldn't connect

I even uninstalled my security package, Eset, completely, in case that was the cause, and still would not connect.

Connection via usb works but not Bluetooth? It connects and then disconnects after some time? Is autoblocker on your phone enabled? Disable it and try again

Autoblocker is already off

I turned on and off just in case

now along with couldn't connect, it says "an app is need to use this device"

“...

provided by Samsung Support, on how to connect to your Bluetooth device via the SmartThings app:

First, make sure the device you want to connect is in pairing mode
Then, navigate to and open the SmartThings app on your phone
Tap Add (the plus sign), and then tap Device
Tap Scan nearby - the device's name should appear under Available devices
Select your device and follow any on-screen instructions to finish pairing the Bluetooth device

Did a small test

looks like I was under the wrong assumption

I thought I could have a constant connection to my pc via bluetooth, like my galaxy watch

but that apparently is wrong

all you can do is send and receive files, and for the pc to receive them, you have to prepare the pc to receive them.

by going to Settings>Bluetooth & Devices>Devices>send or receive via bluetooth

you apparently can't do it any other way.

Thanks for all your help and suggestion, but it looks I just had things wrong from the beginning

I am currently having this exact issue. I am attempting to connect my phone to my pc through various apps, even though it says on the pc that it's paired, it still says unable to connect on the phone bluetooth menu
