Galaxy S24 plus wallpaper changes on its own

Hello there fellow Samsung Galaxy S24 members 👍🏻 So I've recently upgraded to the S24 Plus which I like alot but every time I change the wallpaper by the next day it's gone to a plain dark grey colour...? Plus the lock screen set up has changed to default so I lose all the widgets I set up...? I have changed the wallpaper back several times and restarted the phone but the same issue keeps happening!!! Anyone else had this issue??? Maybe a software glitch 🤔

Any 3rd party apps or customisations that could be causing this? Are the wallpapers that you are using, the stock ones that came with the phone?

Hi Robin999 yes they are the stock ones that I have used plus I tried to change the colour to plain black which I did via the stock wallpapers but by the next day it's gone back to dark grey for the lock screen and main app screen I had a S21 Ultra before I upgraded and did the Samsung switch to copy all data from one phone to the other... I don't what else to do?

These are the stock wallpapers I use I don't download any wallpapers from the Galaxy Store or Google PlayStore I like to keep my phone settings to original as possible...

Do you have wallpaper services enabled on your phone? You can check this by heading to

Settings>wallpaper and style>browse my wallpapers>wallpaper services>set this to none to disable it.

As a generic troubleshooting step please try this @F6670 

> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

That's good. Try turning off Wallpaper services. Settings >Wallpaper and Style>Change wallpapers. In Wallpaper services toggle to None.

If you copy S21 Ultra layout, maybe some widgets not exist in S24 plus,and maybe your icon layout is from S21 Ultra

It's not enough only changing wallpaper. You must setup original theme for your S24 plus and your theme you will find in Galaxy Themes Store. After that clear cache files, turn off and on your phone, and then setup wallpaper you want

I have the wallpaper services already turned off maybe I should clear the cache? I think it may have something to do with copying files and settings from the S21 to the S24+ it's also changes on the lock screen where you have 2 apps in the bottom corners like Contacts and Torch 🤔 strange... maybe a glitch I don't know 😕 let's see how the Cache gets on I'll let you know 👍🏻
