Wifi Not switcting between better wifi connection

I keep having to manually switch between wifi connections when going from house to shop wifi, does not matter which way  I go, from the house to shop or shop to house it will stay connected to the last wifi and it says connected waiting for internet to improve instead of switching to the stronger wifi automatically, I will have to open up wifi and manualy select the stronger wifi. Is there anyway to fix this or is this a bug in the Samsung software?

Have you tried the Intelligent Wi-Fi setting? In there, there's an option to 'Switch to better Wi-Fi networks'. Maybe that will help.

If you go to settings>connections. Choose your home wifi and click the cog wheel on the right. Is "auto reconnect" selected?

How close is this shop to your home? Once you leave the shop or your home for that matter then as soon as you're out of range it will (or should) disconnect. So unless you live nextdoor to the shop then it shouldn't stay connected. No?

My shop and house are 20ft apart, I still get single from either one when I go to the house or shop, it just shows connected waiting for internet instead of switching to the stronger WiFi as it says in my first post, still has a single just not strong  enough for internet and not switching to the stronger one automatically, it's been a ongoing thing with my old phone Galaxy S21 ultra and my new galaxy s23 ultra still the same

...and exactly how long do you spend in this shop, hours or minutes? I have no idea why it isn't switching between the strongest signal but if i was only spending a few minutes in the place then I'd just forget that network and use mobile data. Either that or find another (further away) shop!
