Some of my App Notifications were working and some not on my New S23 Ultra!

Now hardly any work especially "Google Gmail" as I just found I've had 10+ emails since 9.30am this morning. 

Not a Single Notification! I turned off all settings for "Google Gmail" then back on a few days ago and it seemed to fix it now nothing? 

PLEASE CAN ANYONE Help?

Check your permissions for Gmail. Settings>apps>Gmail>Permissions. Ensure notifications is selected.

Done all of the normal things nothing is working?

Is there ever a occurrence when the app is unused for a long period of time? If so then all permissions get removed if that option is enabled. This can also be checked in the permissions section of the app. There's also notification settings within the app itself (see screenshot).

No I use my Emails every day.

I'm having a similar problem setting up my new S23+. Some app notifications do not show up, although they still show on my old S8 (using it as a wifi device at home). Checked all Permissions and Notification options and turned off the option to remove permissions if app not used for a while. Gmail notifications all work for me though; it's just several of my other apps that don't. Is there maybe some anomaly with this version of Android?
