I keep having to manually switch between wifi connections when going from house to shop wifi, does not matter which way I go, from the house to shop or shop to house it will stay connected to the last wifi and it says connected waiting for internet to improve instead of switching to the stronger wifi automatically, I will have to open up wifi and manualy select the stronger wifi. Is there anyway to fix this or is this a bug in the Samsung software?

The shop is my work place, I'm in there for a while and in the house for lunch or bathroom, doesn't matter how long I'm in there, I use my phone constantly for my business and don't want to use up my cell data, reason I'm posting this issue and hoping there is a fix for it

@Wifi not switching: With the routers being in such close proximity, it may be the case that the signal from your home network isn't weak enough to trigger the automatic switch. If you head to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Intelligent Wi-Fi, and enable 'Turn Wi-Fi on/off automatically', this will enable Wi-Fi automatically in places that you use it frequently, which may trigger the shop router when you're in proximity. Otherwise, you could try manually toggling Wi-Fi off and on when you reach the shop to push through the network switch.

You are completely INCORRECT. This is a SAMSUNG ISSUE. Due to patent infringements, they are not allowed to seek the router with the best signal. NOBODY wants ANY of the 4 options offered by SAMSUNG INTELLIGENT (haha) WIFI. It is MOST UNINTELLIGENT. When you are on WIFI you want WIFI! you want to switch between your existing routers when one signal goes a bit weak and the other comes in. NO GO. you have to do this manually. So SAMSUNG masks this in a crappy protocol called "Intgelligent WIFI" or "Adaptive" They move your attention AWAY from WIFI and talk about how ghreat ythey are in switching you back to a MOBILE network (when your wifi is weak) NOBODY wants that. NOBODY has weak wifi! What they have is a need to AUTO-SWITCH to their nearest router - not to switch back to MOBILE. Add on top of that that wifi calling stops when there is no carrier signal! AMAZING but true. The exact opposite of what we want. They make you dependent on their CELL services when all you nedis the WIFI when at home. HORRIBLE! Apple does not do this!

They move your attention AWAY from WIFI and talk about how great they are in switching you back to a MOBILE network (when your wifi is weak). NOBODY wants that. NOBODY has weak WiFi! What they have is a need to AUTO-SWITCH to their nearest router - not to switch back to MOBILE. Add on top of that that wifi calling stops when there is no carrier signal! AMAZING but true. I am also facing this same issue. I was previously using a Huawei Mate 20 Pro for almost 5 years without a single issue with WIFI switching automatically whenever I am at a different storey in my house. Now whenever I walk to a different storey, my Galaxy A34 remains locked to the weaker signal and I have to manually switch to the better SSID signal located on that storey. This issue only appears on Samsung devices, both iPhone and Huawei do not have this issue. Can Samsung please fix this? Otherwise I will never buy Samsung phones again.

I have also the same issue. I live in an apartment, which has very thick concrete walls. For this reason I have set up a separate WiFi routers in every room. Even though the auto reconnect option is "on" in every network's profile and the Switch to better Wi-Fi networks option is also on, my S23 insists on staying on the last added network until I manualy switch it. I leave the screen off and so on, but this option needs some troubleshooting because its useless
