Is this the connection of Wi-Fi from your phone to your Home Broadband Router ?
Does the same thing happen when connecting to our types of Wi-Fi such as other family / friends Home Broadband or coffee shops etc ?
There has been a few threads created in this section in regards to Wi-Fi and the Samsung Galaxy s²³ series.
Maybe run a forum search or peruse through the board to have a read if you haven't already as they may hold content that may help you @Shellie78
I've spoken to people who own the new phone's and the Wi-Fi on their phone's work as it should so I'm not convinced this is a global hardware or software issue.
May I ask what if any troubleshooting have you tried thus far ?
There is a diagnostic tool in your Samsung Battery and Device Care Section.
A generic troubleshooting tip is to clear the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section.
> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
You can send feedback via your Samsung Members app and or let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

@Shellie78: Please try heading to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Intelligent Wi-Fi > Switch to mobile data (Off) > Switch to better Wi-Fi networks (Off) > Turn Wi-Fi on/off automatically (Off). Do you notice an improvement after you disable these settings?
If not, please restart your Galaxy S23 Ultra in Safe Mode, as this will disable all third party apps, and help to determine if the issue is stemming from an external source. To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.
With Safe Mode initiated, please connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and monitor the performance. If you notice an improvement, please restart the phone as you would normally, and uninstall any apps that you have added since you first encountered the issue. Let me know how you get on.
