Any idea why when i try to use Internet..it works for a short period fine...then just stops loadkng pages. I then have to turn wifi off and on again on phone..to get it to start working again. This is new. Its not a wifi/ router/broadband or google issue..its definitely phone issue. Its driving me mad. Its not the google app as suggested previously as a.suggestion. I think something has.changed.following last upgrade !!!

Hey @Gillybaby

Definitely sounds frustrating. Are you only experiencing this issue with the Google Chrome app? If so, could you try checking for any software updates to see if this helps? Head into the Play Store app > Google Chrome > Update (if there's an update available).

@Gillybaby: Let us know how you get on with the alternate Browser app. You may also wish to try connecting to an alternate Wi-Fi router, to see if you notice an improvement. Furthermore, restart the phone in Safe mode, then connect to Wi-Fi to see if the connection becomes more stable. To enter Safe mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode. To exit Safe mode, restart the phone as you would normally.

Let me know how you get on.

I think i have worked it out..after a very long frustrating day. I had Amazon Shopper Panel app enabled on phone..they use some sort of VPN type scenario, description from them below. Once i disabled this...internet is flying...
