I just upgraded to OneUI 7 yesterday and have noticed 3 really annoying issues on my S23 Ultra which have also been reported by other users on Reddit and Samsung forums. I have passed on this feedback to Samsung in the Members application and I would highly recommend others do it too. I really hope there is a fix for these extremely annoying issues.
1. Only a maximum of THREE notification icons show up in the top left corner of the status bar. Previously, it was possible to adjust this behaviour in Quickstar which allowed for several notification icons. A major downgrade it you ask me!
2. I have lock screen notifications set to Cards, and when I have more than THREE notifications cards, the fingerprint icon overlaps with them which, 1} looks like a complete eye-sore, and 2) tapping on the fingerprint shows the full list of notifications and only by long-pressing does the phone unlock. This behaviour negatively impacts the phone unlocking and viewing notifications experience.
3. Google Maps is not showing up on the Now Bar. I've cleared Google/Google Maps app cache but the problem persists. I hope a future Google Play system update fixes this.
This update has quite a few teething problems on the S23 series of phones. I wish Samsung did not rush the stable release even though is was LOOONG overdue.
