Anyone else seeing issues with Wifi6 on their S23 Ultra?

My phone will connect but then stop passing data until I disconnect and reconnect. The same SSID is fine on my S22 Ultra and all my other devices. I have tried to reset the network connections and all that, but keeps happening.

Changing to my 2.4Ghz SSID is fine, but a lot slower.

It's definitely when switching nodes. I have walked around the house from one node to another and you can see internet stop then data turns on. I can walk to another node and internet comes back on the phone. You go back to the node giving issues and no internet issues. The node causing issues is random. Sometimes it's the router itself and not the node but always when switching. Quick toggle wifi on/off fixes the issue temporarily.

Just so you are aware, the RT-AX88U is NOT a WiFi 6E router, not even close.

Although it may claim to work at 160mhz, it's not the same as on a true "6E" device, meaning that you enabling 160mhz may infact reduce your overall WiFi experience in the home on your 5Ghz bands.

WiFi 6E routers come with a specific and separate 6ghz radio.

Least with my router, thats 2.4ghz 5ghz x2 and 6ghz.

I have a GT-AXE16000 & GT-AXE11000

They are true 6E devices, and there's a big difference.....mostly in the hole it burns in your pocket of course.

Still doesn't change the fact that "6E" in itself is barely working on the S23 Ultra at all. That also goes for my S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra & Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Same. Issues are large amounts of lag before loading pages or refreshing twitter/apps, slow wake up on WiFi. This needs to be sorted out quickly, I'm on a £1500 device - S21 Ultra had no issues at all. I'm connecting to a Netgear Nighthawk router.

I try many way as suggest from the post..... changing permanent IP.... changing to phone MAC..... reset network all done. But problem still persist....it come intermittent. So it will suddently said no internet connection your data is not loading.

The fastest work around is disable the wifi and enable again. It will reestablish the wifi connection and is working again......but later issue will happen again.

Samsung .... pls provide fix asap. I've update the latest firmware but sadly this problem still not solve.

I an experiencing the same issue since day 1, February 15th.  I have tried multiple workarounds, none of them resolve the issue long term on WiFi 6.  I reported the bug to Samsung but in unusual fashion, they are mum!  Now I an deciding if I'm going to return and go back to my Note 10+.

Samsung always find a way to screw up their mobile devices!

My s23 Ultra keep losing wifi connection. Already tried on 3 different routers, on both 2.4 and 5ghz. With all advices from reddit with no luck. Shame fo samsung they released their top phone with such a bug.

OK so I've switched off my other WiFi kit leaving just one wifi6 signal from the main router and the connection hasn't dropped since. So I agree that it only happens when switching.

Yes, using Deco X20 units. Have to off/on WiFi for reconnect.
