S23 Ultra - Connect to WiFi but no internet/constantly dropping out/Wifi6 issue

Anyone else seeing issues with Wifi6 on their S23 Ultra?

My phone will connect but then stop passing data until I disconnect and reconnect. The same SSID is fine on my S22 Ultra and all my other devices. I have tried to reset the network connections and all that, but keeps happening.

Changing to my 2.4Ghz SSID is fine, but a lot slower.

Make sure you have the April firmware. That appears to have resolved the issue of wifi6. Also asus had firmware update recently so make sure updated. Restart router. On Galaxy S23 try turning off "switch to mobile data" in smart wifi. Reset network settings. With the reset network you will have to redo the wifi/Bluetooth connections but that seemed to help clear up bugs created with the transfer to new phone. Hopefully that should work for you. I have had stable connection and no drops since.

Can't speak for all wifi implementations on all APs, but I've tried several manufacturers setup in mesh or multiple AP setups (that's when I personally had the most issues, when hopping APs) and It's been consistently working for me.  It was def the April update that fixed it, but I haven't looked at the patch notes of there are any.

Thanks , though I am not using a mesh, as the router I have is powerful enough for my house without resorting to that.

i have this issue, connect to wifi stays connected for a few minutes then data stops. anither garbage phone by samsung following fast on the heels of the hopeless Z fold 3 which is clearly a prototype as is the Z fold 4

Problem was fixed two updates ago. Update your phone. Phone is great but for this issue but it has since been fixed.

My wifi keeps disconnecting (with April update) on my S23 Ultra. Have 3 other older Samsung phones that have no issues on my wifi.

Literally just got my S23 Ultra (512) this afternoon and it can barely keep WiFi6 connection for longer than 5 minutes. 

S22+ (256) has been spotless since I pre-ordered it. 

Play System Update 1 May 2023 (No further updates)

Software is WF1 (1 June 2023)

Randomized MAC is off. 
WiFi Throttling etc is all off. 
Not an ASUS Router. I have an Android TV (2022 model), and a Dell laptop (2022) all on WiFi6 on the same router with ZERO issues.
This is not what I expected of a £1400 flagship.

I have same issue. At home I have Zyxel APs which are WiFi 6. All other devices working just fine. When have issue, I do have WiFi connection, but no internet. Have latest update as of today. Tried to play with my APs settings and tried to diagnose an issue without any luck and finally googling the problem found, that it is S23 Ultra issue. Now I have disabled random MAC and I will check if it helps.

Same issue connection dropping randomly new s23 ultra 3 days old all latest updates and my old s20 ultra holds the connection fine. Just the new s23 ultra giving problems losing the connection
