Hello.
Can someone please inform me about the Galaxy S22, S22+, S23 and S23+, what are the Bluetooth standards (type aptx HD, etc) and the audio quality in KHz (type 32bit/384KHz, etc). Best regards.

And what would you like to set up on your phone? If the connected device is equipped with support for, for example, the atpX Adaptive codec, my phone (S23 Ultra) will set itself up. In the headphone app, in my case Sennheiser, the "aptX" or "aptX Adaptive" Hi res selection appears in the menu. If the phone did not support this format, it would not appear in the Sennheiser app menu. Do you still have a problem?

Your Sennheiser app is specifically controlling your headphones/earphones and NOT the phone. For example, the Momentum 4 supports aptX Adaptive and thus the Sennheiser app lets you select that. There is a 'handshake' when your device pairs to your phone and if the phone cannot output the device's selected codec, the phone will then output the next best codec that both the phone and device use.
In the developer options of the S23 Ultra, the only available Bluetooth codec options are "SBC, AAC, aptX, LDAC, and SSC."
In the developer options of phones that support other codecs (for example the OnePlus 12), it shows "SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, LDHC, aptX Adaptive, aptX TWS+."
To answer your question, yes, I still have a problem because there is no "aptX Adaptive" option even in the developer options of the S23 series (and likely S22 series) of phones.

Yes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 supports these codecs but at a licensing cost. Samsung does not implement it because of cost and because they have their own "SSC" which is apparently comparable to aptX Adaptive. In promoting their SSC codec, they can also promote their own audio products.
The LDAC codec is a Sony codec but it is free, and thus it's easy for Samsung to include and implement.

You're right. I was confused by the Sennheiser app. I read about the Samsung codec issues. Sorry, the truth is yours👍
