Hi all, I noticed the Bluetooth audio output sounded off after the latest update from Samsung for the S23 Ultra. Looking through the sound settings, I see that Samsung have changed the EQ settings, something that wasn't broken to begin with.

The equaliser setting seems to be limited and all audio profiles sound very tinny with little to no bass. Movie mode on the Dolby Atmos has an unacceptable reverb, and the Music mode is equally as bad.

Before the update the audio was clear and punchy. I can't see how more people aren't posting about this. I've only seen a handful of others with the same issue. I feel like the issue has been overshadowed by the camera bug.

I switch between the Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Pro2 for anyone in the same boat.

Anyone else experience this issue? If so, please report bug in the Members app

My Bluetooth audi is also acting weird since 6.1.1
I never had an issue with dropping connections to my buds(jabra) but since the update both the sound and connection is poor. My camera has developed issues in which photos are blurred in "photo" mode which is the main reason I bought an ultra model,,, for it's camera!

yes, i have the same problem. The sound sounds flat, turning off Dolby Atmos helps a bit, but I've been trying everything for three days now and it doesn't work. Hopefully a fix will come soon...

I have the same problem. Audio quality is worst after the update of 6.1.1 and preset layout changed. The rock preset is vanished. I used to listen on that preset. Previous layout and audio quality was far better than now. I don't know if they will fix it on October update.

Same problemSame problem. I use the APtx codec and I definitely recognize these frequencies on my Hifi amplifier.

Same problem after updating. I use Samsung Galaxy buds FE and Honor earbuds pro 3. Any Bluetooth device I connect to now, the audio sounds tiny and echoey. Please fix Samsung!

Yes exactly I am glad I am not the only one. The bass has much decreased and its like more treble. They need to bring back the old equalizer

Same problem for me. Have reported it again to Samsung through the Members app. It's a known problem. Really annoying that they are not fixing it quicker..

Really bad problem. I'm using with Buds+. It's horrible. Two expensive product from same company should not be like this. Bad engineering. Bad QA.
