All the 45w charger will do is charge a little quicker
There's no issue with the One you have

Since my S23 Ultra lasts the entire day without charging, I only charge it when I go to bed.

I find it simpler and easier to use wireless charging.  You might want to consider buying a wireless charger.

I have several spread out around my house but I usually only use the one next to my bed.

Samsung will sometimes offer a wireless charging station with the purchase of a new phone. I think that's how I got mine.

@chrissb: The Galaxy S23 supports 25W super fast charging, so you won't need to upgrade your charging plug in order to obtain the fastest charge rate.

absolutely, yes the device can continue to use your s21 charger of 25w but it will charge almost half as fast as it could be doing right now. its still compatible and you will still get a full 25w. ( this is pain drying slow by modern standards) , samsungs new "fast" charger 45w is definitely worth getting. the new phone is going to have a bigger battery and so it will take longer to get 100% compared to the s21. that said you can still use the 25w charger just you won't be getting that super sweet 45w speed. and you may find during more intensive loads such as gaming that the phone will loose power whilst plugged in! imo 45w is still slow by modern android standards. you don't need the official samsung plug but look for something that will fast charge 45w and more and explicitly says samsung s23 . belkin , ugreen ,anker also make a few and don't get confused with the 45w for iphones or laptops etc... they may not have the right parts to offer 45w to a samsung and instead be a 65w fast charger that offers samsungs 25w fast charge but a xiaomi 65w etc...

@chrissb  As others have stated your current 25 watt charger will be fine.  The 45  watt charger will be faster but I think the difference is fairly marginal  and will not be twice as fast.   I do not have direct experience of the faster charger but user experiences and testing have shown that the difference is not as marked as some expected.  An earlier thread on that here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s23-series/25w-vs-45w-charger/

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

When I first got my S23U I researched the 45w charger online and it only saves a few minutes to fully charge so I bought 2x 25w chargers instead for less money, one for upstairs and one for downstairs plus it means I have a backup should one fail. Hope this helps
