Just got it updated last night (been trying to delay this for 2 weeks). Noticed the phone wont charge at all no matter what charger or cables we used, rendering it useless like a brick. Call customer service, and she told me nothing they could do about it. we would have to wait until samsung issue a new patch. When asking what we could do while waiting, she told me to turn off the phone and wait for the update!

This reminded me of Nokia in the good old days when their batt became ***** within 6 months after bought. We abandoned it to samsung and now its the time we part with them because they eff too much with the ai and all new confusing user interface update ***** that we didnt ask for.

Original Samsung cable/charger? Try gently cleaning charging port preferably with canned air

Wipe phone cache partition and or hard reboot the phone

Wiping the cache partition seemed to work. I can charge my phone now. I will continue to monitor it for a few more days. Thanks for your help!!

Hmmm........ I think I am too quick to jump the gun. It was charged for a minute, then stop charging and 2 notifications popped up shown, "Device not supported" Analogue USB devices aren't supported, and another one said "Unlock your Secure Folder to get notifications from apps in Secure Folder"
