Samsung s23 ultra not Updating to Android 16

I have a Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra That will not update on Android 14 why am I not get new update to Android 16

If you dont have Android 15, that would indicate that the device you have has been imported from another region or is in some way locked to a work account or something like that
If you go into settings
About Phone
Software information
Scroll down to service provider software version and take a screenshot of that
Will possibly be able to see what region its for

No if you follow my instructions you should see something like in the screenshot

So the last three letters TMB means the phone is from the USA
So if you are not in the US, then you won't get software updates for the phone.
You can try connecting to a computer and using smartswitch on the computer to check for available updates
But with the phone being out of region. It may not do.
If you are in the US, you maybe best asking on the US Community as this is the UK community

Unfortunately this is the thing with buying from sites like this
May seem like a bargain, but theres usually a reason why
If you purchased it recently and still within the returns period. If you didn't want to keep it, you have that option
Give the smartswitch on the computer a go first and see
