My wife updated her Samsung Galaxy S23 (which was mine previously) to Android 16 with One UI version 8.0 and now het phone randomly restarts.
She only notices it when she looks at her screen, because then she has to provide the PIN and password for the phone, she already missed a few important calls because of this.
Yesterday her phone restarted twice, without any warning.
Actions performed:
Wiping Cache ==> No result
Backup Phone, factory reset, restore backup, phone kept working nicely for about 3 days, then the issue resurfaced again.
Before the upgrade to Android 16 the phone was working fine, and even after te phone rebooted is does not feel hot, and also the battery is not empty.
Any solutions available?

Hi,
thanks, but how exactly does this work?
If I want to try a emergency software recovery , get the options to use a : "emergency recovery using the recovery code"
when I click that button, it asks for a recovery code from the previous pc....
I have no idea what it is asking for, I don't have the previous recovery code or knowledge about it.

Well, I suppose yes, since this device has been in use for almost a week after the last full reset.
I did not get an option to "retrieve/store any recoverycode, but I made a backup before trying to update the phone.
is there a way to retrieve the recovery code from the phone, since it is operational, I just want to reflash the Samsung software.
Or does it mean I have to perform a full reset, and then do an emergency recovery?
