** update . .. Samsung found a fault and replaced my motherboard ***

My phone keeps restarting for no reason overnight. And then doesn't work until I unlock to finish the restart (which means my mother who is elderly can not get in touch with me if needed .. she is one contact I allow past DND)

It is not set anywhere to restart, it's on charge, and it only just started doing this 2 months ago

I've restarted, checked settings etc
Please help fix this

I'm using the same charger I always have (wireless ankler charger) phone isn't too hot

Report sent to Samsung as well as phone noticed it was an incorrect start

Go to Settings - Device care - Auto optimisation. I know you said its not set. Make sure both toggles are off. But a restart is worth doing at least once a week.

Both are off but thanx. I restart when I need to. Overnight leaving it unusable and me unreachable when it's just random is not good at all.
What if my mom wants to get in touch and I haven't opened my phone to finalise the restart

Hi, Do you have any modes or routines set up that might be causing the restarts?

No nothing like that. There is no way it should be restarting. It's doing it at random, always on charge and always overnight

Do you have access to a wireless charger? If so, try wireless charging overnight and see if it makes a difference

It really should not be doing it with the auto optimisation off.

It is wireless charged. Every night. Same charger I've used for my previous phone too
I heard that it was a known bug that Samsung can't fix so trying to get some answers
Such a random thing to happen but it could cause issues

Oops my bad. Sorry, try a wired charger. If that doesn't help then try a hard reset

With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot. Once done, please check if the issue is resolved.
