Hey everyone just out of curiosity  I wanted to know is there any much benefits with a 45w charger than 25w charger

Reason being is I know s23 base model only charges with a 25w charger where as s23plus and s23 ultra has 45w

Not much.. 45W charges a few minutes faster. If one is in a hurry, then 45W charger helps to quickly top up the battery.

45W will be faster charging if your phone is compatible with faster charging.
But for me. Unless I'm in some sort of rush, I much prefer a slower charge. Partly as it's more kind to long term battery performance I think.
Plus battery life is really good on phones these days. Unless you use the phone as a savage heavy user.

But just depends on how you use it and what you have installed.
Some need the fast charging

Whilst not used a 45 watt charger know that the difference is marginal  and  different from some folk's expectations,  may be more of a difference for partial charging.  Some testing that focused on the S22 series:

Yes you need Super charge 2.0, only my TabS8 and S7+ support that, not the folds or flips.

Never timed it, but the 45 does seems quicker, maybe placebo

I find the 25w to be absolutely sufficient for myself, charges my phone at a high speed within a good time frame!

Hi @sarasphotobox

I purchased the 45w charger a while ago while it was on offer just to see how it faired etc and to be honest it does charge the phone faster however I'm more than fine with normal charging via wireless Samsung Pads etc that are dotted around my home.

I fast / superfast charge if I need an occasional quick boost.
