@gublersghost: If the issue is only intermittent, then please try checking the USB port on your S23 Ultra, and clear any dust or debris you might find with a soft bristled brush or compressed air. Also, try heading to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > USBSettings > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device. If you have access to another compatible USB cable or headphones, I recommend trying them to see if the issue persists, as the issue may be stemming from your existing accessories.

Im having issues as well. I have a few different USB-C devices that give me an AUX input and none of them work. My phone acts like it isnt even connected to an AUX cord even though it is.
I dont get any crackling/pops. I get absolutely nothing.
My USB-C port is crystal clear, no fuzz or dust of any kind. It looks flawless, 0 damage.

Thank you for the detailed solution! It worked perfectly for my S23 Ultra. For anyone else experiencing similar issues, I highly recommend following these steps. It could save you a lot of time and frustration! Tried with compressed air and alcohol solution to no avail before getting to this post. +rep to AndrewL.

Hi Andrew, will it be possible to enable the USBsettings app Force Stop button back? Since it will be greyed out after clicking it and won't be back on even shutdown or restarting it several times with no luck. Thanks!

@Nash Chung: If the 'Force stop' button isn't currently available in your USBSettings, then try connecting your phone to your charger, or another compatible USB device, to see if this helps.
