Email scroll lock

So over the last couple of weeks while using the Samsung email app, I'm having issues with what feels like some type of scroll lock.

I can open the app, select which email account I want to read, and can scroll with zero issues, but as soon as I try to reply to an email or compose an email it won't allow me to scroll down the screen.

I've included a screen recording of whats happening, as it will make more sense. Dont worry this is just a spam mail that isnt even using my correct email haha.

Now this happens no matter if its Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail. 

Am I missing a setting somewhere that switches on some weird scroll lock? I'm just using the standard settings, and havent changed anything.

I have the latest updates and software of one UI8, but ut was also doing this before I updated.

I have 7 email addresses that i use for different things, i ended up uninstalling the app and then reinstalled. I then proceeded to spend the next two hours trying to remember my passwords, setting up notifications to how I like them, then realised you lose all the addresses you have added to your spam list, so you now get loads of spam in your inbox, and after all that the app still doesn't work.

So I really wouldn't be in a hurry to remove the app, it doesn't fix it

Thanks and noted. Since I used Outlook on my laptop I will add it to my S22 and synchronize them. This wilI give me the option to reply to emails from the phone.

Will keep searching for a solution

I have the exact same issue on the same phone. 

I also have an issue where doing a search for an email results in EXTRMELY slow response time once an email is selected. Do you have that issue as well?

Value of this device is losing fast.

Yup! Same thing for me. It often crashes when searching emails.

Same here

Tried all above, unistalled the app( painful to add all those emails back) also used samsung online help when they logged remotely to my device, could not help.

They asked me to log a complaint at the samsung store so the engineers will get notified. 

Very annoying, I hope it gets fixed soon

Any updates on this, my email started doing this since an update. Can't seem to find a fix.

Unfortunately not. I'm hoping now its becoming an issue for lots of people Samsung might actually come up with a fix

No updates I'm afraid. Given up with Samsung support. Just hoping now loads of people have the same issue, something may be done about it
