WhatsApp won't update

Why won't my WhatsApp on my S22 Ultra update to the newest version (all white and no green bar?). I've tried everything...

- restarted the phone

- reset the phone

- uninstalled the app

- cleared cached 

- spoken to WhatsApp support and nothing to help

Any ideas ??

@Techmaster: After you uninstall the app, which version is available to download from the Google Play Store. For clarity, I believe the current version is 2.24.11.79. Have you previously been able to download updates for WhatsApp without restriction? Also, are you currently inside the region that the phone was intended to be used in?

I'm able to download the 2.24.11.79 version. Yes I have been able to without issues and now suddenly I have issues. Including a white glitch in the green status bar. United Kingdom

If you are still having issues then it is more likely app related instead of device.

From the Google Play Store, search WhatsApp and then go to the bottom of the page for contact email address for WhatsApp Developers and reach out to them.
