Videos effect cant turn off.

 why can't I turn off video effects with the new update?

@Wayne154: The background colour and image can be adjusted to your preference via Settings > Advanced features > Video call effects. For further options, please swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom while you're on a video call, and tap on 'Video call effects' (located towards the top of the screen).

Thanks for the reply but I don't want any effect just a plain video call.

@Wayne154: I believe that the video call effects can be disabled by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom and tapping on 'Video call effects' while you're on a call. Let me know if this helps.

It seems it doesn’t for me since I done the latest update.

I don't want any video effects and I can't seem to undo the coloured back.

is there a notification as @AndrewL mentioned when you are on video call? Also, you can delete the background image when you are in Video Call effects and click on 3 vertical dots in top right corner
