Trying to setup the smart view case on my s22 ultra. Samsung support page says go to accessories setting, but I don't have that option. Genuine Samsung smart case fitted correctly. Anyone have any ideas.

I came across a post that said to turn off accidental touch protection. Seems to be working for me so far

I have the same problem. It started when I restarted my phone. Now the accessory is just not recognised (it is like the case is not there, so closing it makes no difference.
I believe that there is an NFC chip in the case that allows the phone to recognise it? Can anyone confirm this?
Without this. the Advanced Feature option for accessories does not appear.
Was NFC turned off? Mine was when I restarted.
It seemed to work for a while after I turned NFC off, but the restart broke it.
That is my theory anyway.
What I haven't worked out is the exact combination required to fix it.

Not sure if relevant here but it may help some.other poor soul.
My smart cover for samsung s22 ultra started doing the same, as in, the mobile stopped registering it after 9 days or so. The problem is by this time I had gotten use to it, not to mention of course had paid for the smart cover as well.
Tried loads of thongs including turning off and on mobile, taking it out of yhw cover putting it back in ,disabled a few yhings as mentioned on this thread or elsewhere.
At the very end, I took out that thin metal plate that I had put in between the mobile and the cover (behind mobile) which is used to attach the mobile on a magnetic mount while travelling in the car (initially bought and used for my previous mobile s20 plus).
And volaaa ... smart cover started working again.

I have also noticed that if you are using Phone Link the cover does nothing when closing the case. You have to disable phone link in order for the case cover to work properly.

I had the exact same problem. It happened after a Software update. What I didn't realize that I had connected to my pc, displaying my phone screen on my pc screen. I disconnected and my smart case started to work again. The software update had nothing to do with it. 😬
