My s22 ultra hung and went into boot on 6 April 2025.
This boot kept repeating itself and there is no way to stop it and it continues and drains the battery.
when I tried to charge it, the battery charging icon will appear when I plug it in. However, Now, it does not indicate the charging icon.
Once I start the phone, it goes into boot loop again.
Very upset that my very new looking s22 ultra is now basically useless. I see that there are a lot of users facing this issue. Very disappointing and I would like Samsung to contact me to see how this issue can be resolved.
My older samsung Note 8 is 4 yrs older than this and still working fine.

I had the same issue, so I cleared the cache in safe mode, did not work, so rest it to factory setting, phone was back running post that, however would still hang and restart randomly. Some where in one of the forums, I had read that disabling weather widget and uninstalling outlook resolves the issue, and so I tried it and voila, the issue is now resolved, Its been 10 hours with out restart (with few lagging here and there and when multiple apps open) but I guess its because I am using the phone on battery optimised mode

I'm yet another victim of this One UI 6.1 update scandal. Reading up on it on forums, I've not found any consistent solution, but found that putting the S22 Ultra into Safe Mode does not stop the crash & bootloop. For what it's worth, I can cause it mostly by using the Camera app with WiFi on. Also, turning on WiFi can alone trigger it and this leads to the longest bootloops. I also experience WiFi drop-outs, disconnects & unresponsive WiFi controls.
Compared to others, I seem lucky in that my phone is not totally bricked (yet?) and can function well with care & awareness. I'm tempted to do a factory reset, but realise the motherboard most likely is already compromised and I'd waste my time.
So I'll be interested to see if Samsung Technical Support can suggest a way forward, even say when an update fix will be released? Not holding my breath...
