S22 ultra not updating to 5.1

Hi all,

I have galaxy s22 ultra and i didn't get the one ui 5.0 or 5.1 update!

I check if there is any updates regularly and it says its up to date!

Any ideea how to get it or why is this happening?

(My partner has the same phone from same provider and she got it)

Was your phone supplied by a carrier or through a retailer?

I bought it through EE on a 2 years plan!

Having a quick look online, EE had custom firmware for the S22 Series, although they have been releasing updates in a timely manner, most recent was in March. You could try manually flashing the latest firmware via a program called odin, although do your research before doing so as things can go sideways if done improper. Alternatively you could back up your data, factory reset and see if that solves the problem, are you using any vpn service on there?

Thank you fo this! Although i do not want to use odin for the same reason stated by you and tbh it would be an inconvenience for me to backup everything from my phone and try a reset! I don't think this is something i should have to do. I do have insurance but again i have to claim,pay the excess and still have to backup everything in order to send it over.I hope there is an alternative to this.Again thank you very much for your answer

You should have the Ui.5 and Ui.5.1 update well before Xmas just gone and the latest software update was coming though last week for the April
update as I got mine for my S22ultra then, maybe check with your carrier to see why you haven't had anything as you state your partner got hers with the same model. I wouldn't advise flashing the firmware unless you really know what your doing.

@Alexandrubbu: If you are unable to update your Galaxy S22 Ultra over the air via Settings > Software update, then you may wish to try Smart Switch on your home computer (PC or Mac). 

To begin with, please follow the link below, and click on 'How Do I Get Smart Switch On My PC or Mac' to download the relevant version

Once installed, open Smart Switch, connect your S22 ultra using the USB cable that came packaged with the device, and look for an update prompt on the landing page, next to your device details. Let me know how you get on.
