S22 ultra freezing and restarting frequently

In s22 ultra I found that there is big lagging issue and freezing everything and just after that the phone restarting automatically without any instructions. I have done the factory reset and do the recovery mode boot up, also the Safe mode after every diagnosis the issue is still bothering me.

I am having the same exact issue anychance you figured out how to fix it before i go and buy a new phone

Same issue here, yesterday I moved some items out of Secure Folder, sent them over WhatsApp and everything started lagging, tried returning them to Secure Folder, removing them, emptying the Secure Folder completely, etc.. no help.
Been lagging and rebooting since then..not sure what can be done

Hello to the Samsung community. This is just a post on my experience with my S22 ultra. I started getting problems with my screen freezing and then the phone rebooting. This went on for a couple of weeks. I had plenty of storage left on my phone, and I couldn't find any other software issues that might be causing the freezing and crashing. I had updated the software to the latest version, etc. I decided to take the phone to my nearest phone repair shop called i mobile here in Hertfordshire. They inspected the phone and suggested that it may well be a battery issue. They ended up changing the battery three times, but the problem continued. They then took the phone and sent it off to their laboratory in London to be tested and fixed. It was with them for 20 days. I received it back yesterday, 8th March, and the problem is fixed. They paid that work had to be done on the motherboard, and it was a 'Power management problem'. The cost was £90 in total. The phone is now working great, and they didn't wipe any data on the phone. I hope this helps someone out there.

I'm having  the exact problem  with my s22 plus  dose anyone know what to do  or how to fix this problem

I couldn't figure out why so I just traded in My S22 Ultra and got the S25 Ultra

I am facing the same issue...after updating the(March 2025 update) phone crashing randomly, tried restarting it and every solution available on the internet but the issue is not resolved.

previously last year after updating the phone (same s22 ultra) display issue came around the front cam, service center didn't replace my display for free. I had  20,000 INR to replace the display.

Very disappointed for Samsung after buying a flagship phone we have to face these issues.

Shifting from Samsung and I will never recommend it to anyone!

IT IS WORKING NOW! This is what I did

- Turn off the Wifi (and never turn it on)

- Reset your settings (No need for factory reset, just reset all your settings and no data will be lost)

- After this don't change anything on your settings, not even your ringtone

- Keep the phone in the freezer for a couple of minutes

- Bluetooth can be on, but never connect any galaxy buds or anything for your earphones (Use the wired c-type headphone instead)

- Turn off the auto restart in settings

 

That's it and it works. My phone S22 which was frequently restarting multiple times in a day for the past 1 month, now has been working fine without restart for the past 4 days.
