Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra boot loop after software update

I updated my phone a couple of days ago, and starting yesterday night (October 29, 2024), it began rebooting itself and got stuck in a boot loop. I tried everything, but the issue persisted. In the end, I had to factory reset it. After that, it started working again, but today (October 30, 2024), it started rebooting itself again.

I haven't dropped my phone, and there has been no contact with water or anything like that. Since it works normally from time to time, there shouldn't be any hardware problems. The problem is likely related to the software.

My phone model - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Hi @Tural Muradli and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

Unfortunately there has been a few users who have been negativity impacted via sone software updates.  😕

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

I agree with @Tourbillon De La Vie 👌 that a visit to a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre would be the next move, and or contact Samsung directly via your Samsung Members App.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I have this issue too! S22 went into continuous boot loops following the 6.1UI update. Short periods of it working, in those moments it wouldn't connect to WiFi or Bluetooth. Then returning too bootloop. Lot of similar reports. Samsung told me to send my phone for repair via EE. Today I have been told that the issue isn't covered under warranty and i am liable for repair charge. Phone was working fine before and absolutely no damage. Samsung, how can issues caused relating to software updates not be covered???

I was facing the same issue. Went to the service center, they told me to reinstall the software with full data lose and later they told me to replace the motherboard with cost of half of the phone price. I was a big fan of samsung but No longer...RIP

In my country (Azerbaijan), contacting via messenger does not work normally, and the Samsung service just wants to charge me additional costs. The problem is obviously caused by software, but they are acting like it's the customer's fault.

Same situation, I was planning to buy the S25 Ultra next year, but now, I no longer trust Samsung and I don't plan to spend more than 1000 USD on Samsung.

Yes, the issue still continues. My phone works normally for several hours, then decides to put itself in a boot loop. The Samsung One UI simply does not work normally.

Me too, exactly the same story as everyone else comenting on here so won't repeat it all, but a tip for anyone who has their phone stuck in boot loop reloading, PUT IT IN THE FREEZER. Sounds crazy but it works, I left it for about 5 mins and then my phone came back on as normal. Not a permanent solution but good if u need ur phone back on quick. So dissapoitned in Samsung the way they have handled this 😞
