Hi my phone keeps turning screen off when browsing. Have to unlock it with the side button.

Exactly same issue for me. Again, has mainly been whilst scrolling through web pages via Chrome and the screen goes completely black. I have also recorded an error report, would hope it's fixed pretty soon as its spoiling the enjoyment of a new device

Same here, and not just a few times a day. Some pages , eg Amazon, and the screen is turning off every few seconds.

Same issue. Very disappointing phone. Browsing is impossible on Chrome. Fingerprint sensor faulty and only recognises my print 13% of the time (monitoring this on a daily basis now). Phone does display Internet pages properly on some sites including this one (overlay /duplication of text). Considering taking phone back. Not as good as Samsung S7!

Similar. As long as I keep groping the screen, Firefox stays open fine. Timeout set to 5 minutes. For me, issue appears worst in phone app; on an automated call requiring keyboard input to navigate a voice menu, screen turns off between entries, so I'm double- tapping at every prompt - very distracting. Please correct.
This isn't the only software issue. Trouble with restoring data files during transfer from old phone over USB. SmartSwitch is not so smart, leaving many file types behind. To maximize difficulty, USB access to Android/data behaves intermittently. Seems half-baked compared to earlier Note8.

Hello, I had just received my s22 ultra 2 days ago and I am experiencing the same issue. When I scroll up or down (fast) the screen gets black. I need to press the unlock button and then it will close the screen and I need to use the finger print in order to unlock it.

Try increasing the screen timeout to 2m
