S22 Exynos Battery Drain on WiFi

Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with WiFi on S22 . When the phone is idle and connected to WiFi it can't switch to "deep sleep" mode and battery drains much faster then when on 4G. 

Is this a known bug ? Does Samsung is working on a fix ? I need to keep the WiFi turned off currently to reduce the idle battery drain, which is pretty annoying. According to multiple threads on Reddit and other sources online I'm not the only one with this issue

I haven't heard from anyone with exynos that that did not have this bug.

But please let me us know if you know someone that can show this is not a problem for them.

S22U definitely not, I'm not sure about S22+ . I haven't seen any confirmation from anyone with S22 base that the phone is capable of deep sleep on wifi .

Anyway someone mentioned that it works for him on WiFi 6, but I cannot confirm it as I don't have any WiFi 6 AP to test so I'm not sure if it can be trusted.

I also don't have an  wi- fi 6 AP to test with.

But it should work on any wi-fi not only "6".

I don't know if it's just my device, but I find battery very poor even without Wi-Fi. After 8-10 hrs, 2hrs SoT (usually just emails, messages, some Web browsing - no games etc) and battery is dead. In members I was recommended to use safe mode to identify if there is some faulty app and then factory reset (which I already did) and then go to service center.

8-10 hours is bad. I can last maybe 20-24ish hours using mobile data but with maybe 2 hours SoT. You might have something else eating your battery plus the high CPU usage and wifi issue isnt helping.

What is using your battery most in battery usage in settings?

Goggle chrome about 10%, carrier service about 7% and Google play service about 4%, other apps are below 1%

If I activate battery saving mode it's even worse.

Got my S22 HK snapdragon 9010, no bug on that S22, its clearly exynos related

One week use of s22 base and I noticed the same battery drain issue with WiFi on. After 8 hours I have always 30% of battery with more or less 2 hours of screen on. For me is unacceptable for a top smartphone from over 800€.
