Hi,
I have a Samsung S22 Ultra.
I'm able to pair the phone with my Honda Civic 2013 but the phone is unable to play any sound on the car speakers.
I tried Amazon Music, Youtube, Google Maps etc. I have another Oppo phone, which perfectly works with my car.
The phone (S22 Ultra) works perfectly fine with the my Sony bluetooth headsets so phone bluetooth doesn't seem a problem.
In the phone bluetooth settings under the Car bluetooth device name, I tried the device type as Speaker, Heaphone and others but none is working.
is there any other setting to be enabled on the S22 Ultra for it to play the audio?

I'm having a similar problem in 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. The Bluetooth audio is extremely choppy in my S22 after Verizon released the Samsung security update on 2022-03-22. This only happens when my Galaxy watch 4 is also connected. Once watch is disconnected, the audio resumes normally after the buffer clears. Then I reconnect watch and the audio goes back to being choppy.

HD audio was disabled by default. I tried by enabling it and restarted the phone as well. I did a like-like developers settings with a working phone also. The issue still persists unfortunately.

I have the same issue with my Honda CRV 2013. It's been working fine for over a month, all of a sudden no sound.
It connects to the cars Bluetooth but there's no sound. It crackles from time to time but no continuous sound.
Solving this issue would be a great help or hopefully its addressed in the next update.

I am having the same issue. If I disconnect my Watch S3 my audio in my truck works. As soon as I connect it back, then the sound goes out again.

Yes, this is the solution which I also found after exploring the Samsung community. When I disconnect my Watch 3, the Bluetooth audio works and as soon as the Watch is connected back to the phone, the problem comes back. It is just a software bug I believe. Let's wait for a fix from Samsung.

@Members_ZFfTnM4 If you have any Samsung watch connected at the same time to the phone, please disconnect it and then connect the car bluetooth. It is a workaround until we have a permanent solution from Samsung.
