I know we've spoken quite extensively in regards to the screen protectors you've tried @Madfish 👍
As you know I have the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector on my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256gb and it works 99% of the time.
I've used this on all my phone's apart from the Fold³ as the glass one is currently unavailable.
Check but I do think Whitestone offer a guarantee on their products and may send you another.
An alternative might be to use a case that has some kind of protection with it so no immediate need to use a screen protector. Obviously this is entirely your choice to use a screen protector or not.
Many of the problem's your encountering appear to be software issues that Samsung need to be updated about regularly from users so they act upon them.
Not so sure on the speaker issue your experiencing though.
The more people that send this type of feedback should mean Samsung act.
I appreciate also the viewpoint that a Samsung Flagship phone should just work out of the box, but there are so many variables that play a part here in regards to what people download onto their phone's and how they transfer their previous information etc.
But that said primary systems should work.
I use Bluetooth everyday on my phone to connect a couple of different Samsung Buds and two Samsung watches and a Samsung Smart Tag and it's stable. It hasn't disconnected or dropped out once.
It's a conundrum why some people's phone's are fine and some are not.
I could better understand this is say this was happening with the first batch of phone's for most people but it isn't.
So you have a personal difficult choice to make so close to your option of returning within the 21 day cooling off period.
It's my 21st day too.
It is in tbe Terms a person agrees to that Samsung will endeavour to return a traded in phone but can't guarantee this and such instead provide a refund to what they see as the current value.
I'm keeping my phone as it's not let me down once although I choose not to Game on my phone's so I can't comment on that aspect.
One of the members mentioned asking for a replacement which is a good idea you could consider.
If you do request a collection for refund then anything that came as a promotion will need to be returned and any promotional streaming service will most probably cancel. You would have to check the small print for the Disney+ offer.
If you do decide to sell it then you may lose out if the price you recieve is less than it's on paper value as it's second hand.
Please please be very careful if you decide to sell on places like ebay !
Places in the UK such as CEX, Game, Trade Me In and Cash Converters etc buy phone's but never give it's true value. 🙄
Personally I wouldn't entertain selling on auction sites.
I usually sell to family members, friends or work colleague's.
In regards to the different SoC variants of phone's.
Take it from me that isn't the end of all by buing a phone with a SnapDragon SoC in it. I've had both types of uk Samsung phones and imported Samsung SnapDragon SoC phone's.
I wish you all the best with how you decide to proceed.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
