S22 spen not working

I got my Samsung s22 few days ago and noticed my the pen doesn't connect if I turn on the air option it just cancels out and no matter what I reset it doesn't connect or even show if inserted or removed... But if I turn off the air option it works... How can I fix this why is the air option not connecting and also I'm from Nigeria @samsung

Honestly- saying "just gotten" means its second hand/repair shop/ ebay/ amazon etc- Honestly Id return the device
