Hello everyone,!

I have a Samsung S22 Ultra (512G) European version. It was working perfectly after upgrading to OneUI 8 for the last two weeks. Yesterday, when I plugged in the charger and checked the phone, it wasn't responding. After performing a hard reboot, it entered a boot loop. I have tried everything—wiping the cache and even putting the phone in the freezer for half an hour (which temporarily helped for a few minutes but then it returned to the boot loop). Nothing has helped recover the phone from the boot loop. Unfortunately, I haven't backed up my data from the phone 😞

Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem or at least recover my data?

Many thanks in advance.

If sent for repair, assuming it makes sense for an old phone, it will be fixed. Without backup however data is most likely lost

I have already spent 380 EUR last year on display replacement. I am not convinced to spend more on a device that is already outdated.

Yes, it's absolutely true, i have a OnePlus 7 Pro, which is more than 6 years old, but still working. And this expensive sh#t died in less than 3 years of life.

Don't put the thing in the freezer! If that helped, it must be hardware related, are you sure you just 'left' it and it just broke?...

Exactly this is what happened, I was all normal on the way to the office and was having ~35% battery, and i was casually using it, and after reaching the office, I plugged in the cable and didn't check it for the next 30 mins. But when I tried to turn the screen, there was no response. Later, I tried with a hard reboot, and after that, i never had a working phone anymore./

Putting it in a freezer wouldn't help, that's just a myth

it helped to boot up the system at least for 5 mins. i tried it twice already. Now planning how to keep it running for more than 5 minutes to take a data backup.
